Selected work / Engineering & impact

Built for the real world.

A selection of the systems I have helped shape: the data foundations, the intelligent applications, and the infrastructure in between.

Connecting enterprise data to useful AI

AI agents and language-model applications grounded in enterprise data, built to support real workflows and better decisions.

The context

Enterprise AI needs more than a capable model. It needs access to relevant data, a useful place in a workflow, and an approach that respects organizational access controls.

My contribution

At Microsoft, I have architected natural-language analytics applications, integrated language models with enterprise data, and delivered agents for task automation. This work includes data catalogs, prompt engineering, and Model Context Protocol integrations that connect agents to the information they need.

The impact

These systems help teams move from manually assembling information toward asking questions and automating recurring work. My focus spans the application experience and the data foundation underneath it.

Building a more dependable data platform

Technical direction for distributed data infrastructure, bringing together cloud efficiency, observability, and trusted product analytics.

The context

As products grow, their data platforms must serve more teams and more decisions without making reliability or operating cost an afterthought.

My contribution

I have led data-platform rearchitecture on Azure Kubernetes Service, improved pipeline and database performance, and established shared product and operational metrics. Alongside the architecture, I built monitoring, alerting, and data-quality capabilities and took responsibility for disaster-recovery readiness.

The impact

The work reduced cloud operating costs while preserving throughput and availability. It also gave engineering and business teams a more consistent basis for understanding usage, capacity, and platform health.

From a payments problem to a company

Founded and led a payments and data analytics startup, delivering high-transaction financial systems before the company's acquisition.

The context

Payment infrastructure has to connect established financial systems with new products while keeping transactions dependable.

My contribution

As founder and CEO of Kyklos, I led payment integrations and high-transaction software projects for organizations in Latin America. The engineering work included banking switch migrations and ISO8583-based systems for point-of-sale and ATM applications.

The impact

Leading the company meant connecting technical delivery with business operations, suppliers, and customer requirements. Kyklos was subsequently acquired by a private company.

These are public-level summaries of selected contributions. Customer identities, internal project names, and confidential operating figures are not included.
